The government has approved a list of activities for artisans. This was reported by zerkalo.io with reference to the press service of the Council of Ministers.

The list of activities permitted for artisans includes the production of national musical instruments, hand-woven products, yarn, blacksmithing and leatherworking. The list also includes the production of barrels (cooperage), artistic processing and painting of products from various materials. In addition, artisans are allowed to make and repair stove tiles, decorative tiles and panel inserts, tiled cornices made of natural clay, as well as carts, sleds and children's sleds, products made using the patchwork technique. Permitted activities include the manufacture and repair of kitchen utensils, toys, interior dolls, decorative panels, boxes, cigarette cases, snuff boxes, ashtrays, piggy banks, candlesticks and other products.

“If your type of activity is not included in this list, for example, the manufacture of wedding accessories, candles or soap, you will be able to do this as an independent professional activity,” the government said in a statement.

The resolution comes into force on October 1, 2024. This means that from this date, registration as artisans will be carried out in accordance with the new list.
