‘There Are Serious Behind-The-Scenes Games Against Lukashenka’

The dictator is being shaken by his own team.

The other day, State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Aliaksandr Valfovich returned to the topic of the Ukrainian border. He unexpectedly began to contradict Lukashenka, and announced the number of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the border with Belarus at 14 thousand people (Lukashenka stated 120 thousand).

How can this message be understood? The Charter97.org website turned to political expert, head of the Ukrainian Center for Military and Legal Studies Oleksandr Musiyenko for a comment:

— This often happens in the Russian Federation, when what Putin says first, and then Peskov or Lavrov, does not coincide. In fact, I noticed that Russia is trying in every possible way to provoke the Lukashenka regime to take action against Ukraine. The Kremlin is very unhappy with the fact that it cannot force the Belarusians to tie up the Ukrainian units. Ukraine continues to conduct an operation in the Kursk region.

Putin, however, is trying to take certain steps bypassing Lukashenka. He does not like the current situation, and he makes it clear.

By the way, after the Ukrainian operation in the Kursk region successfully began, I learned from my sources in Ukraine that the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Federation Gerasimov personally called the Chief of the General Staff of Belarus Muraveyka and, in an obscene manner, demanded that the Belarusian troops be returned to the border with Ukraine. Those that had previously been withdrawn on Lukashenka's orders.

I would like to emphasize that this was done bypassing Lukashenka: Gerasimov directly called the Chief of the General Staff of Belarus. Which, by the way, Lukashenka did not like at all.

I would like to note that Muraveyka was appointed not so long ago. It is known that he is a protégé of the Kremlin, who came at its behest. Now the Secretary of the Security Council does not agree with Lukashenka about the number of troops. Is this a hint of sabotage or something?

— Why did Valfovich do this?

— It follows from this that the number of Ukrainian troops on the Belarusian border is insufficient. Accordingly, Belarus is not fulfilling the Kremlin's task of constraining and preventing the movement of Ukrainian troops to the Kursk region. “They are not doing their job” — this is the conclusion that the Kremlin can draw.

I think that there are quite serious behind-the-scenes games. The Russian Federation is trying in various ways to undermine Lukashenka through his own team. It is forcing him to more actively carry out actions and events along the Ukrainian border.

Please pay attention to one more point — the launch of a UAV from Belarus to Latvia. Who is destabilizing the situation now? I see that the colors are becoming increasingly thicker in order to draw the Belarusian army into the war.
