Deputy head of the Talochyn District Executive Committee Ina Halubkova headed the pro-government union of women in the Talochyn district, and praised every message from Lukashenka. She was detained right in her office for a bribe of 3,000 rubles, writes «Наша Ніва».

Ina Halubkova is 52 years old. She was the deputy head of the Talochyn District Executive Committee for more than 10 years.

In 2018, she was appointed a district “deputy” for the Talochyn district. However, there were no other candidates at the polling station besides her.

Halubkova also headed the pro-government Belarusian Union of Women in the Talochyn district. In 2021, she was sent to the All-Belarusian People's Assembly. She also held dialogue platforms where she praised the current government and Lukashenka's “wisdom”.

And in 2023, Halubkova commented on his speech as follows: “The message of the head of our state made an indelible impression. The accents that he placed in his sincere and vivid speech once again confirm that the Belarusian leader clearly understands which areas of the country's development require improvement.”

The last time Halubkova was seen in the media was in January 2024. And evidence of her detention appeared in early February. Then the channel “Rumors of Vitebsk” reported that she was “taken out of the office in handcuffs.” According to the channel “Vitebsk, I'm walking”, the official is being tried for a bribe of 3,000 rubles.

Ina Halubkova's trial began on August 22, 2024, and a verdict has not yet been issued. She is charged under two articles: “receiving a bribe on an especially large scale or by a person occupying a responsible position” (Part 3 of Article 430 of the Criminal Code) and “abuse of power or official authority” (Part 3 of Article 426 of the Criminal Code). The official faces 5 to 15 years in prison.
