Drones Attack On Oil Refinery, Airfield In Ryazan Region Results In Explosions

Russian Tu-22M3s may be at the Dyagilevo airfield.

Powerful explosions were heard in the Ryazan region of the Russian Federation on the night of Saturday, July 27. Local residents reported the work of Russian air defense against drones in the area of the oil refinery and near the Dyagilevo military airfield, where Tu-22M3 bombers may be located, writes the Telegram channel Astra.

Footage of smoke over Dyagilevo and a video of a UAV flying over were published online.

The Dyagilevo airbase in Ryazan is the location of the 43rd Center for Combat Use and Retraining of Flight Personnel, equipped with Tu-95MS, Tu-22M3, Tu-134UBL aircraft and an Il-78 tanker. The 360th Aircraft Repair Plant is located near the airbase.

Monitoring Telegram channels write that three Tu-22 aircraft landed at Dyagilevo after the last flight on July 25.
