Over the fall of the ‘Shahed’ fragments.

A representative of the Russian Federation was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania in connection with the fall of Russian ‘Shahed’ wreckage on the territory of Romania.

As noted in the ministry, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs conveyed a strong protest of the Romanian authorities and condemned the repeated attacks of Russian troops on the Ukrainian civilian infrastructure, demanding their immediate cessation.

The Romanian Foreign Ministry reminded that attacks on civilian objects are war crimes, and also called irresponsible military strikes by the Russian Federation, including in close proximity to the border. It is noted that such attacks threaten the national security of the country.

‘More broadly, the exclusive responsibility of the Russian Federation as a result of aggression against Ukraine for the serious deterioration of the security environment in the Black Sea was emphasised,’ the statement said.
