He called anti-Israel protesters in the United States “Iran’s useful idiots.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during a speech in the US Congress, sharply criticized protests against Israel's ongoing war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip, calling anti-Israel protesters "Iran’s useful idiots", writes CNN.

According to the prime minister, “many choose to support evil,” and those who protest against Israel’s war “support Hamas, rapists and murderers.”

“I have a message for these protesters: When the tyrants of Tehran, who hang gays from cranes and murder women for not covering their hair are praising, promoting and funding you, you have officially become Iran’s useful idiots,” Netanyahu said.

Overall, Netanyahu’s almost hour-long address “sounded belligerent,” CNN points out. He vowed to "fight until Israel is victorious."
