Soldiers of the 188th Guards Engineering Brigade, which is stationed near Mahiliou, are practising setting up a pontoon across the Dnipro River.

Specialists from the reconnaissance diving platoon are conducting engineering reconnaissance of the water obstacle.

When establishing a crossing, military personnel of pontoon units use equipment that is in service with the pontoon-bridge fleet, the Ministry of Defence reports.

It is noted that the military acquires the experience necessary both during combat operations and in peacetime.
