After the loss of the "Moskva" cruiser.

Russia's Black Sea Fleet can already be called a flotilla. However, it is too early to talk about the small number of Russian ships in the Black and Azov Seas.

This was stated by head of the Centre for Strategic Communications of the Defence Forces of the South Dmytro Pletenchuk on the air of the marathon.

According to him, the Russian Black Sea Fleet could be called a flotilla since the time when the Moskva battle cruiser, which was a ship of the first rank, was destroyed.

The speaker noted that there are still many ships in the Russian fleet, including cruise missile carriers. At the same time, the Cyclone was the last missile carrier in Crimea.

"It is of course too early to say that the grouping is non-existent or that it is quite small. The Russians have another problem - the inability to use their existing ship and boat formation due to the danger of going to sea," Pletenchuk said.
